Camra says this is real ale
To remove confusion over the huge range of bottled beer products, CAMRA has launched a hallmark 'CAMRA says this is real ale' to clearly identify for you products that are the real thing: natural, living beers. Over the coming months you will start to see this logo appearing on the bottle labels of eligible beers.
These beers will be unpasteurised and not artificially carbonated. The hallmark shows the beer is a natural live product which contains yeast for a slow secondary fermentation in the bottle. This process provides wonderful fresh flavours and a pleasant, natural effervescence.
