Description:
A mixed case of English sparkling wines made up of two bottles of each of the following:
Bolney Bubbly (12.5% abv); A simple, light and refreshing vintage sparkling
wine. Very easy to drink with a charming elderflower creaminess. Enjoy
with friends over a summer barbeque with grilled sardines and an aromatic herb
salad.
Cuvee Noir (12% abv); A unique, red sparkling wine which oozes style. Warm
aromas of stone fruits and ripe blueberries lead to a wonderful creamy richness
from the 18 months lees ageing and a lingering summer fruits palate with a hint
of spice on the finish - almost like a summer pudding. Enjoy this with chunky,
full flavoured patés, mature cheddar or red berry fruit puddings with a
pleasing touch of tartness. Serve chilled.
Sirius Rose (12% abv); slightly different English sparkling wine. With Seyval blanc as the principal constituent variety, it is fresh and floral. Its colour and obvious
elements of its flavours come from an addition of Merlot grapes, which give it
a red fruitiness. With its 18 months of ageing on lees, it has a creaminess
that matches the strawberry characteristics perfectly. There is a delicate
level of sweetness (12g/l of residual sugar), which adds to the balance of this
fresh and fruity wine.
